dietkiller: I posted this on my blog and, after about half an hour of commenting back and forth about why I view this as, indeed, a small act of racism, the following was what the commenter posted: “When you think plain Life cereal you think of white people when you have maple sugar you think Black people. It’s a stereotype they created so that their brand would be associated with different types of family.” Really? Because I know when I think of brown sugar, I instantly associate it with a black person. /sarcasm
